Re: Dart Rosters
Dear Sir,
We refer to the above and wish to advise that the rosters which have been circulated from your office in relation to the proposed 10 minute Dart Timetable are completely unacceptable to our members.
You are further advised that the issue of productivity was addressed by the Labour Court in its recent recommendation.
Our members in the Train Driving grade have a reasonable expectation in that any discussions on productivity would be conducted in line with the Labour Court Recommendation. Presenting the 10minute Dart Service as a faith accompli runs contrary to the road map proposed by the Court.
Furthermore it should be noted that it was the Company which introduced the notion of a 10 minute Dart Service to the discussions at the Workplace Relations Commission in the first instance.
Making public commitments on increased services without first consulting with staff is not conducive with best practice in Industrial Relations in any jurisdiction, not least one which has agreed negotiating structures around proposed change.
Our members in the Dart are adamant that they will not be discussing the introduction of a 10 minute Service on the basis of the rosters which you have circulated.
Yours Sincerely Yours Sincerely
