Re: Privatisation of Bus Routes
Dear John
You will be aware that the Government through the auspices of the National Transport Authority are to privatise 10% of Bus Éireann Routes, a number of which are in your area.
The National Bus and Rail Union is organising a public meeting in your electoral area to discuss this very serious attack on Bus Workers jobs and the associated impact on their families.
This meeting will take place on the 13th May 2014 at the Granville Hotel at 20.00hrs.
We are extending an invitation to all candidates running in the forthcoming elections to attend at this meeting.
We hope that you will be in a position to attend in order to hear first-hand the concerns of our members’ and their families.
