Re: Proposed Implementation of Unagreed Pay Reduction 24th August 2014 Notice of Industrial Action/Work Stoppages

Dear Sir,

I refer to the above and hereby advise as follows:

Following a ballot of our members at which they were asked to decide for (80%) or against (20%) industrial action up to and including all-out strike in the event that you move to unilaterally implement wage reduction measures, the National Executive Council of our union has sanctioned the following series of actions:

· A 48 hour work stoppage commencing at 00.01 on Sunday 24th August.

· This will be followed by two 24 hour work stoppages on Sunday 7th September 2014 commencing at 00.01 and Sunday 21st September 2014 commencing at 00.01.

The National Executive Council will reconvene on the 23rd September 2014 to review the series of actions and will communicate with you having so done.

This correspondence should be taken as official notification of the above-sanctioned series of work stoppages.
