Subject: NATIONAL PROTEST MARCH AGAINST BUS PRIVATISATION

The NBRU today announced a National Protest March against Bus Privatisation on Wed 23rd July
General Secretary Dermot O’Leary said:
“The people of Waterford today sent a message to the Government regarding their proposals to Privatise their City Bus services, they along with Bus Eireann staff and Dublin Bus staff, they will no longer continence being ignored by Ministers Varadkar and Kelly”.
Mr O’Leary went on to say:
“NBRU members have now decided to organise a National Protest march in opposistion to Government plans to Privatise Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann services, Ministers cannot be allowed to continue with the policy of ignoring staff and community concerns”
